Since 2007, the BTB has come back to an issue that strikes at the heart of the transport world almost every year.
Our political leaders have still not understood that the lack of policy on comfortable rest areas for truckers can have serious consequences for road safety!
Often the media reports on unexplained accidents. A truck drives into the tail of a traffic jam or runs off the road, with no demonstrable explanation. However, the reason must be sought elsewhere. Thus, one of the causes of accidents is the poor quality of life of truck drivers in car parks!
With our black books on motorway car parks, the BTB will try to convince the Belgian and European authorities to take the right decisions on road transport and road safety!
